DESCRIPTIVE INFORMATION ABOUT DAYLILY PRICE LIST

The name in bold type is the name of the daylily.

The name in parenthesis is the name of the hybridizer.

The first number expressed in inches refers to the height of the scape.

The second number expressed in inches refers to the size of the bloom.

A "self" is a daylily with just one color on the petals. The throat is usually a different color, most often green, yellow, or orange.

AM - Award of Merit
SM - Stout Medal(the highest award given)

Bloom Season

E - early
EM - early midseason
M - midseason
ML - midlate
L - late
RE - rebloom potential

SE - semievergreen (do not divide or transplant after Sept. 1 in the north.)

EV - evergreen (do not divide or transplant after Sept. 1 in the north.)

Noc. - Flower starts opening during the night instead of in the morning. They will also be open all day. Nocturnals also open better than diurnals where cool nights prevail and are the best choice for semi-shady locations as they don't lean towards the light. They may be planted in full sun . Nocturnals are usually fragrant.
